Hunts with Sheep Creek Outfitters are done exclusively on horseback or by foot. Excursions are based from one of two main camps, which allow access to the ancient Rocky Mountains and the local Purcell Mountain Range. Depending on the hunt, clients stay at one of the main camps, or several nearby spike camps. Closed to vehicles, the area has a 30-year tradition of hunting and guiding.
Tradition is something that runs throughout the Sheep Creek operation. Originally an electrician by trade, Joe Conroy first started in the guiding business 15 years ago. But it's a passion he's been following ever since. It's that same passion he, the rest of the guides, along with his wife and two girls all share. As anyone who's been on a hunt with them knows, they pass on that passion to all their clients. Dedicated to providing an exciting hunt, Sheep Creek Outfitters is equally dedicated to following professional practices and ensuring a safe environment for its clients.
